Hereden had always been the worst kind of town. Narrow streets and homes with even narrower minded people. When the first person went missing, it was easy for the good folks to look away. Instead they looked into their assets, their security systems, and at worst into their own sordid history of affairs to make sure that no past mistake could creep out and take its vengeance. But things only kept getting worse.

Altern House showcases a wide range of writing, from works about the characters of Hereden to poetry, interviews, and a portfolio of other works.
